1. This year’s Matriculation Ceremony for Distance Education students will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Accra, Kumasi and Tamale Learning Centres. Students are to attend the matriculation ceremonies as follows:

2. Freshmen should note that it is obligatory for every student enrolled in the University of Ghana for the first time to go through the rites of Matriculation and sign the Matriculation Oath; students who fail to do these will have their studentship cancelled.
3. Freshmen/women are required to endorse the matriculation oath online. To register, click on the URL below

4. Freshmen should be seated by 9:45 a.m. at the designated regional centre.
5. The prescribed attire is BLACK MATRICULATION GOWN OVER FORMAL DRESS.
6. Students are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner appropriate for the ceremony.
7. Students are to present copies of their proof of registration at their regional learning centres to collect matriculation gowns at no cost from Saturday, October 15, 2016.
8. The gowns are to be returned to officials at the Matriculation grounds immediately after the ceremonies. Failure to do this will attract a penalty.
