Invitation to the 2023 Joseph S. Agyepong Distinguished Lecture on Public Health in Africa

Members of the University community and the public are cordially invited to the 2023 Joseph S. Agyepong Distinguished Lecture on Public Health in Africa to be hosted by University of Ghana in commemoration of the 75th anniversary. The lecture is in collaboration with Harvard University Centre for African Studies.

Prof. Peter Lamptey, a Professor in Global NCDs at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and President Emeritus FHI360 will deliver the Keynote Address on the topic, “Combatting Noncommunicable Diseases: Africa’s Greatest health Challenge”.

This lecture is under the distinguished patronage of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo and will be chaired by the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye.
