INVITATION TO THE KWAME GYEKYE MEMORIAL LECTURE
The Department of Philosophy and Classics in collaboration with the Gyekye family is organizing the first Kwame Gyekye Memorial Lecture on 16th April, 2024 at 4:00pm. The Memorial Lecture has been instituted to celebrate the life of, and reflect on the intellectual legacy of, Emeritus Prof. Kwame Gyekye – one of the foremost African philosophers of our time. This first public lecture marks the 5th Anniversary of his passing on April 13, 2019.
