OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF THE MASTER OF RESEARCH AND PUBLIC POLICY PROGRAMME AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GHANA.

You are invited to the official launch of the Master of Research and Public Policy Programme being hosted by the Centre of Social Policy Studies on behalf of the University of Ghana. The launch will take place on Thursday 23rd June, 2016 at 2.30 pm prompt at the ISSER Conference Hall, University of Ghana, Legon.

The Master of Research and Public Policy is a collaborative programme between the Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR) and twelve African universities. The vision underpinning the programme is the production of social science researchers and analysts equipped to contribute effectively to public policy development in sub-Saharan Africa.

The programme is carefully designed to produce a cadre of professionals with skills to pursue scholarly research that is policy relevant and to utilize research evidence for public policy development in their home countries and beyond. These qualities set the ground for graduates of the programme to work in a wide variety of settings including, but not limited to, public sector institutions, NGOs, think tanks, civil society organizations, regional and international organizations, the media and academia.
