Sod Cutting: Redesign and Soft-Landscaping of the Main Boulevard

 

Members of the University community are hereby informed that under the VC’s Green UG Project, works on the redesign and soft-landscaping of a section of the main boulevard (J.B. Danquah Avenue), from the main gate to Akuafo Hall roundabout will commence on Monday 27, November 2017.

 

The project is being sponsored by HFC Bank (Ghana) Ltd.,under a memorandum of understanding between UG and HFC Bank.

 

The sod cutting ceremony for the project comes off on Friday, November 24 at 10:00 a.m.

 

The project works will last for 6 months.  Accordingly, notices will be issued by the PDMSD to alert the community of re-direction of traffic where necessary.
