Target Group: i) Researchers in the College of Basic and Applied Sciences

                       ii) College of Health Sciences’ Researchers on Legon Campus.

        AND

SESSION TWO:

Date: Wednesday, 9th – Thursday, 10th December 2015.

Venue: ICT Lab. Charles Easmon Building, College of Health Sciences, Korle Bu.

Time: 8.30 am to 4.30pm daily

Target Group: Researchers in the College of Health Sciences on Korle-Bu Campus

The workshop is being organized by the Technology Development and Transfer Centre (TDTC) of the Office of Research, Innovation and Development (ORID), in collaboration with the Africa Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO).
The objective of this workshop is to enhance intellectual property generating activities of researchers to promote technological and socio economic development.
The topics to be covered include:
• Intellectual Property Rights;
• The Use of Patent Information to Inform Research Projects;
• Research Collaboration with Industry;
• Patent Application and Grant Processes and;
• Technology Transfer and Commercialization.
Interested persons may opt for either of Session One or Two.
