Orientation for Newly Appointed Staff

Starting January 1, 2001 - Ending January 1, 2001 Expired

In line with HRODD’s strategy to inform newly appointed staff of their rights, responsibilities and obligations as staff of University of Ghana, a two-day orientation programme will be held for the following categories of staff:

1. Staff who were engaged on or after August 1, 2013 and who did not participate in the August 2013 orientation

2. Staff who will assume duty after January 2014.
The programme is scheduled as follows:

Date: Tuesday January 21 and Wednesday January 22, 2014

Time: 8:30 am to 2:00 pm each day

Venue: Great Hall, University of Ghana

The programme will expose newly appointed staff of the University to the following:

· Human Resource Management Issues

· Salaries and Emoluments Administration, GUSS and SSNIT

· University of Ghana Sexual Harassment Policy

· University of Ghana Acts and Statutes

· University of Ghana Credit Union

· Preparing for Retirement

Staff who fall in the targeted categories stated in ‘1’ and ‘2’ above should endeavour to attend.
