Church Leaders from Presbyterian Church of Ghana Call on Vice Chancellor

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, recently received a four-person delegation from the Ga Presbytery Council of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Members of the delegation were Rev. Victor Okoe Abbey, Chairperson, Rev. Dr. William Korle Quaye, Clerk, Rev. Mrs. Esther Douro, Taifa District Minister and Mrs. Ruby Dagadu, Osu District Lay Representative. 

The visit was to formally congratulate the Vice Chancellor, who is a Presbyterian, and also to pray with him.  They also prayed for the University of Ghana as a whole.  The Vice Chancellor was presented with an Akan Bible and Presbyterian Hymn Book. 

Other areas discussed were the strengthening of the existing cordial relationship between the University of Ghana and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

Rev. Prof. Cephas Omenyo, Ag. Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Development, and Provost of the College of Education accompanied the delegation.  Rev. Prof. Omenyo is the Moderator-elect of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
