The Department of Communication Studies at the School of Information and Communication Studies, College of Education, has been awarded a grant by the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP) to host a visiting scholar, Professor Godwin Agboka, to work on a collaborative project. Prof. Agboka, who is from the University of Houston Downtown (USA), will be working on a project titled, Curriculum Co-Development in Technical Communication. The Head of the Department of Communication Studies, Dr. Abena Animwaa Yeboah-Banin, is leading the project.
The objective is to develop a curriculum towards the launch of a new master’s programme in Technical Communication to meet emerging industry needs and the diverse interests of students.
