Tsinghua University Representatives Pay Courtesy Call on Vice-Chancellor

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, engaged in a conversation with representatives of Tsinghua University. Also present were Prof. Horace G. Campbell, the third occupant of the Kwame Nkrumah Chair, and Ms Eccles Andoh, Assistant Registrar, Public Affairs Directorate.

Representatives from Tsinghua University paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, as part of their tour of universities around the world. They expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome extended by the University community to their undergraduate exchange students who are in Ghana for a one-month study of Ghana’s culture, history, and geography.

The Vice-Chancellor showed appreciation for the growing population of Chinese nationals in Ghana and pointed out that the Confucius Institute being built on the University of Ghana campus will be a key factor in promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.
