UG Graduate Wins Short Film Competition

William Kojo Agbeti was the toast of the 3rd Accra Francophone Film Festival on Saturday March 28 , 2015 during the awards ceremony at Alliance Franҫaise, Accra, when he won two awards in the Short Films Competition. His short film Komabu-Za, about the Ewe migration was adjudged the best in the documentary category. He won a sponsorship prize to attend a film festival in France with his film, courtesy the Embassy of France. William also picked a bronze prize for his short fiction Gaxorzorzor.

William Agbeti studied Theatre Arts with a final year specialisation in Radio, Television, Film and Video, graduating with Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours in 2013. The School of Performing Arts and indeed the whole University of Ghana are proud of this achievement and congratulate him on his success.
