University Of Ghana and University Of Rome Tor Vergata Sign Mou

The University of Ghana and the University of Rome, Tor Vergata have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for collaboration in Research, Teaching and Student Exchange at a ceremony in Rome.

The Pro-Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academic and Student Affairs (ASA), Prof. Kwame Offei signed the MOU on behalf of the UG. The broad agreement covers collaboration in different fields, with the first area of collaboration being a proposed research project in Sustainable Tourism and the introduction of an MA in Tourism and Heritage Studies at the University of Ghana. 

The other members of the UG delegation were Prof. Kodzo Gavua, Dean of the School of Arts, the host school for the programmes in Tourism and Dr. Caesar Atuire, a Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and Classics and facilitator of the MOU.
