University of Ghana Ranks Within the 101-150 Band in the Prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Golden Age University Rankings 2018

UNIVERSITY OF GHANA RANKS WITHIN THE 101-150 BAND IN THE PRESTIGIOUS TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION (THE) GOLDEN AGE UNIVERSITY RANKINGS 2018

 

University of Ghana has been ranked within the 101-150 band on the Times Higher Education (THE) Golden Age University Ranking 2018.

The Golden Age ranking uses Times Higher Education data to cast a spotlight on the best universities established for more than 50 years, but less than 80 years.

THE’s university rankings are the world’s most comprehensive, balanced and trusted – a vital resource trusted by academics, students, their families, industry and governments globally.

200 institutions from 44 different countries were included in this year’s edition of the Golden Age University Rankings.

The prestigious table applies the same rigorous 13 performance indicators as the overall THE World University Rankings - with universities measured across their teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income.

The scores for adjudging University of Ghana were: teaching, 17.7%; Research, 18.3%; Citations, 20.4%; International Outlook, 48.4% and Industry Income, 34.2%.  The overall score range was 20.4 – 28.9%.
