This programme prepares students to occupy middle-level managerial and entrepreneurial roles in both the private and public sectors. The programme exposes students to all the courses required to train an accountant as required by the International Accounting Education Standard Board (IAESB). Students are trained to prepare financial statements in compliance to the reporting framework, compute and provide tax advice, conducts audit, cost and provide management reports as well as use design and use accounting software. The programme trains students to undertake research, write reports and appraise investment alternatives within the micro and macroeconomic environments. Students can appreciate the human relations, and effects of public administration and strategic planning on accounting and organisations. The programme has been accredited by the major accounting bodies in the world and graduates earn maximum exemptions. The programme is competitive, challenging and offers majority of interns to the Big4 and other employers in Ghana.
