University of Ghana Matriculates Over 16,000 Fresh Students for 2025/2026 Academic Year
The University of Ghana has, through matriculation ceremonies held across five sessions on Saturday, February 7, 2026, welcomed over 16,000 fresh undergraduate students to various programmes of study within its vibrant academic community.
The students took the oath of matriculation, administered by College Registrars on behalf of the University Registrar, officially marking the beginning of their journey to becoming the next generation of thinkers, innovators, industry leaders and changemakers shaping the future.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, in a message delivered on her behalf by the Provosts of the Colleges and the Principal of the Accra City Campus, congratulated the students on their admission, assured them of the University’s continued support and encouraged them to embrace the opportunities ahead with dedication and curiosity.
