IMPORTANT NOTICE 

SELF-PLACEMENT FOR QUALIFIED UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME APPLICANTS

The University of Ghana has introduced a Self-Placement service for qualified first degree and diploma applicants who have not yet been offered admission for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Applicants who did not qualify for their initially selected programmes of study but meet the admission requirements for other programmes are eligible to participate in the Self-Placement exercise.

Eligible applicants should:

1. Log in to the UG undergraduate application portal using UG Application Serial Number and PIN.
2. Click on the Self-Placement menu.
3. Select preferred campus and programme from the available options.
4. Access provisional admission letter after 48 hours and enroll before stipulated deadline.

Please Note:

1. Programme availability is subject to quotas and will be allocated on a first-come, first- served basis.
2. Self-Placement is only available to applicants who meet the admission criteria for alternative programmes.
3. This opportunity will conclude with the end of the current admissions cycle.
