UG Partners Premier Prime Haven Limited on 10,000-Bed Student Accommodation Project
In a significant step to address student housing challenges, the University of Ghana has signed a concession agreement with Premier Prime Haven Limited for the construction of a 10,000-bed capacity hostel facility on campus.
In partnership with the Ghana Investment Infrastructure Fund (GIIF), the facility will have 2,720 rooms, comprising 2,420 four-in-one rooms, 150 two-in-one rooms and 150 single rooms.
The first phase of this Public-Private Partnership(PPP) is expected to be completed within 12 months. This partnership is also expected to oversee the completion of the College of Humanities building, which was part of the Africa Integras project.
