The President and other executive members of the Legon Ladies Club (LELAC) have paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu.  Their visit was to welcome him into office and interact with him.

The Vice-Chancellor pledged his support for LELAC and its cause for the advancement of the welfare of women in the university community.   He reminded the executives of the equality of all and the recognition of our mutual interdependence.  He advised LELAC to consider extending its membership to Senior Members of the University.

The LELAC executives used the opportunity to inform the Vice-Chancellor of their intention to invite Mrs. Owusu to become a member and patron of the club.

The delegation later presented a citation and a LELAC cloth to the Vice-Chancellor.
