Application Deadline for Specified College of Health Sciences Programmes – 2025/2026 Academic Year

The University of Ghana informs the general public - especially current and prospective applicants - that the deadline for applications to the following undergraduate programmes (Level 100 entry) under the College of Health Sciences is October 31, 2025:

Programmes:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)  
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery  
• Doctor of Pharmacy  
• BSc. Nursing  
• BSc. Midwifery  
• BSc. Medical Laboratory Sciences  
• BSc. Physiotherapy  
• BSc. Dietetics  
• BSc. Diagnostic Radiography  
• BSc. Occupational Therapy  
• BSc. Respiratory Therapy  

Key Information:

• Applicants will be required to undertake computer-based entrance examinations before the WASSCE results are released.
• WASSCE results are not required to sit for the entrance examinations.
• The entrance exam results, combined with WASSCE results, will be used for admission decisions.
• Applicants who do not meet the pass mark in the entrance exams will have the opportunity to select other programmes before the general application deadline.
• Further details about the entrance exams will be provided once an applicant selects any of the listed programmes above on the admissions portal.
• Late applications cannot be accommodated.

Applicants are very strongly advised to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information to ensure smooth communication throughout the admissions process.

Note: The application deadline for all other undergraduate programmes (Level 100 entry) will be announced after the release of the WASSCE results.
