In line with Priority 3 of the University of Ghana’s Strategic Plan (2024–2029) , which focuses on  Commitment to Staff and Faculty and its strategic objective to “enhance inclusivity and diversity to enrich the University’s faculty and staff,” the University is pleased to announce its maiden Employee Week Celebration, scheduled for November 17–21, 2025.

This year’s theme, “One UG, One Workforce: Celebrating Excellence”, captures our collective spirit of unity, teamwork and appreciation for the invaluable contributions of every member of the UG community. It presents an opportunity to recognise our collective achievements, rejuvenate our spirits and strengthen the bonds that make UG an exceptional place to work.

A rich and engaging line-up of activities have been curated to inspire, connect and celebrate our workforce. From wellness sessions to thought-provoking discussions and team-building experiences, there will be something for everyone!
