The University of Ghana has noted with great concern an unfortunate incident that happened on Saturday, June 10, intervened and the suspect was taken to the Legon Police Station and later sent to the University Hospital for medical attention.
The Legon Police are investigating the matter.
Management condemns any form of mob action and assures the University community of ongoing efforts to improve upon security on all the University’s campuses. Additionally, Management urges members of the community who suspect any wrongdoing to make a report to the UG Security through the following telephone numbers:
