Over 15,000 Graduate at University of Ghana February 2026 Ceremonies
More than 15,000 students from the four Colleges of the University of Ghana and the School of Graduate Studies have been awarded degrees at the February 2026 Congregation Ceremonies held from 10th to 21st February 2026.
In total, 15,288 graduands were presented with degrees across 17 sessions. The graduating class comprised 153 PhD candidates, 4,197 Master’s graduands, 10,543 undergraduate students and 395 diploma graduates.
The ceremonies brought together members of the University community, families, alumni and invited guests to celebrate the academic achievements of the Class of 2026. Across the various sessions, graduands were formally admitted to their respective degrees in recognition of the successful completion of their academic programmes.
The February Congregation, a major event on the University’s academic calendar, reflects the institution’s continued commitment to expanding access to higher education, providing a transformative student experience while maintaining high academic standards across disciplines.
The graduation of this cohort marks the culmination of years of study, research, practical training and intellectual engagement within the University’s Colleges and the School of Graduate Studies. It also signifies the steady growth of the University’s academic enterprise and its contribution to national and global development through the training of skilled professionals and scholars.
